Empower Living Retreat – Terms & Conditions
1. Registration & Payment
- Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your place at the retreat.
- All prices are quoted in USD, unless otherwise stated.
- Payments are non-transferable to another event unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Standard Policy: All bookings are non-refundable.
- Exception Handling: In rare and exceptional cases (e.g. medical emergencies), Empower Living may offer a full or partial refund at its sole discretion, provided notice is given in writing by the agreed deadline.
- Deadline for Refund Consideration (Case-by-Case): Written notice must be received no later than 10th September 2025.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after 10th September, regardless of the reason.
- If a participant does not show up for the retreat, no refund or credit will be issued.
- Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 30 business days of confirmation.
3. Participation Expectations
- The retreat is a full-time immersive program. All participants are expected to attend daily sessions from 8:45 AM to approximately 5:30 PM.
- It is required that all attendees reside at the designated retreat venue, as the format is based on shared living, meals and experiential learning.
- Late arrivals or early departures must be communicated and approved in advance. Repeated absences or unnotified exits may result in removal from the program without reimbursement.
4. Travel & Accommodation
- Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to the retreat location.
- Accommodation and meals (as part of the package) are included and arranged by the organizers, if you wish to eat in any other restaurant, you are free to do so and at your own cost.
- Empower Living reserves the right to change the accommodation venue or schedule with appropriate notice, should circumstances require.
5. Code of Conduct
- All participants are expected to behave respectfully, cooperatively and professionally at all times.
- Any form of harassment, discrimination or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may lead to immediate dismissal from the retreat without refund.
6. Liability Disclaimer
- Empower Living and its partners are not liable for any injury, illness, loss or damage incurred during the retreat.
- Attendees are encouraged to obtain appropriate travel insurance for personal coverage.
7. Media Release
- By attending the retreat, participants grant Empower Living permission to use photographs, video recordings and testimonials for promotional and educational purposes unless a written objection is submitted in advance.
8. Force Majeure
- Empower Living is not liable for any failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, government regulations, pandemic restrictions or any event beyond reasonable control. In such cases, alternative arrangements or credits may be offered, but refunds are not guaranteed.
Exchange and Refunds of Tickets
- Any ticket purchased through the empowerliving.com platform is meant solely and exclusively for personal use by the person in whose name the ticket has been issued.
- Tickets are not a transferable property and cannot be resold, transferred or conveyed to any person unless prior written and express permission has been provided by the event Organiser.
- Tickets once sold cannot be exchanged, cancelled, modified, transferred or refunded and You shall not make any request for modifications in the ticket, including change in date, time, location or category unless theempowerliving has specified so in the Event’s terms and conditions. Please make sure You check the date, time and location before You book Your tickets. But we’d still advise You to read the terms and conditions for each Event regarding exchange, cancellation, modification, transfer and refund. If You wish to change or modify your ticket details, the same shall be entirely at the discretion of the Event Organizer.
Event Changes and Cancellation
The Organizer shall not be held liable for any delay, rescheduling or cancellation of the event due to causes beyond its reasonable control (Force Majeure Events) including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, curfews, strikes, acts of God, war, civil disturbances or technical failures.
In such cases:
- The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the event or shift it to a virtual format.
- If the event is cancelled due to a Force Majeure Event, ticket holders may be offered a refund, partial refund or credit for a future event - at the Organizer’s sole discretion. the refund for the tickets shall be initiated barring the processing fee. Your refunds may reflect in Your account within 30 working days from the date of receiving the refund request only in the case of cancellation of the event.
- The Organizer will inform all registered attendees promptly of any changes.
Final Sale Policy:
- Generally, all ticket sales are final and exchanges or refunds are not typically offered after purchase, except in cases of event cancellation or rescheduling.
Account Creation and Management:
Accounts must be linked to unique individuals with accurate information. Multiple accounts are prohibited and email addresses and phone numbers can only be linked to one account. Account creation may have age restrictions (18 years or the legal age of majority or 14 years with parental consent).
Ticket Security:
Customers are responsible for protecting their tickets from loss or theft. Empowerliving is not responsible for replacing lost or stolen tickets and electronic tickets should be treated with the same care as physical tickets.
Proof of Purchase:
Customers may be required to provide proof of purchase, such as a photo ID/ original passport at check in at the hotel.
Event Specific Rules:
- Venue ( Hotel ) may have additional rules regarding prohibited items (e.g., pets, outside food and drink) and Empowerliving is not responsible for these additional rules.
Other Rules:
- please bring a copy of your invoice purchase/ tickets to the retreat.
- Seating is on a first come first serve basis
- Personal Items must be removed after each daily session.
- Barbara O'Neill will not be doing any consultations, podcasts, interviews or personal invitations.
- Loud and disruptive behavior during the presentations could result in removal from the lectures without reimbursement.
- No Recording Allowed During Barbara O’Neill’s Lectures. all recordings will be given to all participants after the retreat is over. Kindly expect to receive the recordings after 1 months.
